The official torch that will burn during the London Olympics was lit today at the birthplace of the games in Olympia, Greece. An actress dressed as an ancient Greek priestess ignited the torch and gave thanks to the ancient sun god Apollo. The flame will now begin a 2,900-kilometer journey around Greece, then a 12,800-kilometer journey around Britain, before reaching London for the games' opening on July 27. AP video
